“The Billy the Kid Pageant” and “Luminarias in Lincoln” events are sponsored annually by Lincoln Pageant and Festivals, Inc., (LPAF), a non-profit New Mexico Corporation located in Lincoln, NM..

LPAF sponsors performances of the melodrama “The Last Escape of Billy The Kid” during the annual “Old Lincoln Days” celebration.  Lincoln is the village in which the 1881 escape occurred.  Lincoln was also the epicenter of the Lincoln County War (1878-1881).  But, don’t take our word for it.  Learn about the history of Lincoln and Lincoln County by visiting the courthouse from which the escape occurred, the museums, and other historic buildings and re-creations of life in the 1880’s.

The cast members in “Last Escape” are residents of Lincoln County and include direct descendants of the historical figures appearing in the play.

Plan on attending a performance while visiting Lincoln.  You can purchase tickets HERE.  Money earned from the sale of tickets goes solely toward the expenses of presenting “Last Escape.”

Volunteers and tax deductible donations are always gratefully received.
